Praying For Aurora Colorado

Heavenly Father, we are praying that the families that are struggling to understand what has happened again here in Colorado, once again. May they find comfort in your presence and know that the angles are with those that have been taken from them. Please surround them with your love and help them at the time when they need it most. This time will come at different times during today as well as days in the future.

Please continue to guide the first responders, physicians, nurses, hospital staff, police and fire rescue to make the right decisions and place your hands on theirs as they use their skills and talents to help those who need it most. Help them to remember they have gifts that you have given them to save lives.

Heavenly Father, please be with all those Faith Community Partners, Chaplains and Religious Clergy that they will have the mind set to be able to share direction, guidance and words to help ease the pain for them. Help them as their work load double or triples as people feel they need answers for WHY?

May you help each person who has been affected in any way, big or small in dealing with this tragedy. As our community continues to try to find answers, please help up us find peace.  Please help us to remember to share kindness, love on each other as a community and be considerate of our fellow human beings. The community will need guidance and support in trying to disperse the evil and pain with love. Help each of us to be the change that is necessary to change our world to a caring more loving place. Please help us all to stay focused on the things we are able to change and to pray for peace in our broken world.
