Lensroll Directory Comment Notifications

Since Squidoo, Wizzley and Hupages have many thousands of pages of content a lot of things tend to go unnoticed. Thats’s where Lensroll can continue to lend a hand.

The directory is visited daily by both organic traffic as well as direct traffic (fellow Lensmaster’s and the like) and there are a lot of comments left on stories . Sadly,  most go unknown to the author. Until now.

We recently added a new function that will allow users to receive an email alert when someone comments on one of their stories.

How it works

- Someone comments on one of your stories.

- You receive an email containing the comment author’s username, their avatar, the comment content, story title, a link to view the story, and an unsubscribe link.

How to subscribe

To subscribe to all of your new stories; login to the Lensroll directory, navigate to your profile page, select the “Modify Profile” button and make sure there is a checkmark in the box next to “Automatically Subscribe to Comment Notifications for My Stories”. 

Please note that subscribing to all of your stories will only subscribe to stories submitted after saving that setting. Doing this will not subscribe retroactively to your older stories. To subscribe to previous stories you submitted prior to this new function being add simply go to an individual story and click “Click here to subscribe to this story”.
