This is a heart warming story of a recent (August 2008) combination Radio and TV telethon put on by the Boston Red Sox Baseball Team, WEEI AM radio station, and NESN television station to raise money for The Jimmy Fund.
The amount of money raised over a two day period of time is staggering and shows that people everywhere want cancer conquered, especially for kids.
